I used my new proheat 2x steam cleaner the first

You may have mislaid a piece when you took your Bissell apart to clean it after using it the first time.

I experimented with mine to try and reproduce your issue. On the bottom of the water tank, there are two pieces that can be removed from it. One of them looks like a black plug at one end, with a red rubber flange piece on the other end. If you push your finger inside the red rubber piece, you can feel a spring move up and down. This is the first piece you place on the bottom of the water tank. I suspect you have this piece, because if you didn't, water would gush out of the water tank as soon as you turned it over after filling it.

The other piece, which is the one I think you may have have mislaid, is a larger black, plastic ring with screw threads. This piece goes over the top of the first plug piece, screws onto the water tank, and holds the plug in place. The words "RECLOSE TIGHTLY" appear on mine. If this piece is missing, the water tank does not sit flat on the base of the Bissell, but kind of flops around, out-of-place, and the unit will not dispense water properly, though it may leak it.

If ithat piece is gone, it should be possible to reorder it. Start here:

If that's not the problem, if you have all the water tank pieces, I wonder if perhaps you unscrewed one black screw to remove the clear front plastic piece from the base of the unit-- the piece through which water is drawn up off the carpet-- to clean it, and didn't get it back into place properly. Make sure the two hooks at the bottom of this piece are inserted, one per side, into the clear plastic side pieces at the bottom. If the hooks are not secured properly, before trying to reinsert them, unscrew the black plastic screw so you don't break the tab. It's easy to miss getting these one of those hooks back in right, but it's important to do that before trying to screw the clear front plastic piece into place.

no only take the bottom off ,there will be three screws, take the belt put in over the shaft of the motor , loop it ,run it over the silver spindle to the brush assembly ,replace the brush in the slot that it came from, the belt now is over the motor shaft running over the spindle ,and over the brush assembly, replace the three screws and you should be good to go.

You can take the clear part off pretty easily, but the upper cylcone section is held on by three star screws on the upper -handle end. After taking those off, the handle comes off and it has a long stick that runs down the center of the cylinder. There are now 8 cyclones facing you. Clean them however you want, but I couldn't get it broken down any further. There are three more star head screws down the center, but after taking them out, I couldn't get the purple upper piece apart from the lower, grey piece. So, I just kept it all dry, pounded on it with a rubber hammer to break the crust off everything, ran a screw driver into each of the cylclones to clear them, and put it back together. Make sure you put your hand down at the bottom when you're trying to line up that stick to put the handle portion back on the whole assembly. If it doesn't make it back in it's little home, it won't empty correctly.

I hope this helps.

No manual - how to replace belt?

I have the Kenmore 34723 Grab-N-Go Upright Vacuum. It has two screws on the superior surface of the flat part of the bottom section. They say something like Quick Belt Check Lock/Unlock. When you turn both of the screws using a flathead screwdriver to the unlock position the screws become a bit loose but nothing happens. I flipped it upside down trying to figure out how to remove the bottom spent a half hour doing that and then an hour on the net trying to find a manual or explanation. When I went away a couple of hours and then came back I realized that I was making it too hard. the screws were present on the top part of the piece because it was the top part that will pop off. Basically I used my fingernail to pry the blue fiberglass piece away from the black plastic piece on the front, and Walaa! The blue fiberglass popped off. At that point you are able to see that the belt wraps around the brush and passes backwards to hook onto a metal rod that sticks out on the right. Mine had actually just slipped off and so I reset it. You need to slide the brush up out of the groove it is in in order to do this. When you put it back into the groove make sure it is the same way you got it out.
Then just press the blue fiberglass back on and tighten the screws. I think after figuring out how to take the top off the hardest part of the procedure is figuring out how to put the screws back the way they were. Note the screws don't come out all the way, just partially, so don't force it. The problem arises because the screws only go in one way and will spin around and not catch if you do it wrong.

Remove suction motor on rainbow vacuum

Take off the water tank, remove the screw, should be four, that will separate the 2 pieces, remove the rubber seal, remove the screws, 8 If I remember, disconnect the wires to the motor, it should pull out. Replace motor, hook up the wires, screw it back together, glue the water seal back on.
