I'm looking for the part number for the power supply for the RCA RS22162 5 disc CD player

I haven't been able to find much about this particular model. I take it that you don't have the original power adapter, because it's usually labeled on the black box what the voltage should be. My only other suggestion is to look on the back of the amplifier. there is usually a label next to there the plug goes into the amp that will say what the input voltage should be.
Best of luck

There are a number of amplifiers in the TA series, but the connections are basically the same.
In your system, the amplifier serves as master control. How do you know? Look for the component that offers input selection -tuner, cassette, CD, video, phono and probably auxiliary. Every other component plugs into and is controlled by the integrated amplifier. For example, plug the tuner wires from the tuner output to the amplifier input marked "Tuner." To use the tuner, just select that input from the front panel. Same with all the other components.

On the back of that unit will a bunch of RCA jacks for left and right channels. Take the hook-up wires, usually RCA cables with colored plugs on each end, and connect the OUTPUT jacks on each separate component to the INPUT jacks on the amp. Power may also be controlled from the amp. On audio plugs, red is right and white is left. Keep the polarity constant as you connect each component. Connect the speaker wires to the speaker outputs, usually spring clips or screw terminals on the amplifier end and the same on each speaker. The DVD video cable will have three wires: Yellow, red and white. Yellow is always video. It may also have a little round video connector for S-VHS which provides a much better picture when using DVD.
Select your desired input and enjoy the show. Service Manual free download schematics datasheets eeprom bins pcb...

Y cd player model CD 4000 serial No HM-23174204 will not play CDs that I have burnt on my pc using Nero. But will play pre-recorded ones. Can you help me please

Have you looked at the manual?

If NERO didn't create and finalize the disc in CDA format it might not play on a normal CD audio player. Some also require the disc to have been created in a single session.

"CD 4000" is not unique. The serial number is a useless piece of data. Google it.

Name the MAKE and model first, then we'll look for the manual. Then (maybe) find a solution. You might find it at the manufacturer's support site or these guys...

How to connect speakers to RCA model #RP-8070D

This unit is just a 5 disc CD player and cannot drive large speakers all by itself. Normally it is hooked up to a stereo receiver / amplifier which is what provides the power to drive the speakers which are wired to the back of the stereo amplifier.

If you have a home stereo, then just run the cables from the 2 AUDIO OUT connectors on the back of your CD player to the CD IN connectors on the back of your stereo.

Then turn your stereo on and select CD on your stereo input mode selector and you should be able to play the cds on your RCA and hear them through the stereo speakers.

If you do not have a stereo amplifier with speakers to connect it to, then you can always listen to it through headphones connected to the headphone jack.

Or if you have a set of self powered amplified speakers, like the kind you hook up to a computer, then you can run the AUDIO OUT cable from your cd player into those as well.

Good luck.

Unfortunately I can't locate any connector for your headphones at the official manual. You can use the connection for Digital home theater amplifier, described at page 31 from this manual, in order to connect your TV with the Digital home theater amplifier and use the headphones and the FM Stereo Transmitter that you want, connecting them at the amplifier. In case you don't have a digital home theater amplifier but an analog one you can use the analog output jacks marked as #8 on page 28 at the same manual (using an pair of RCA to RCA cable). In case of further details needed, post me back the way you're going to connect the devices or your amlifier's brand / model to give you the details you are looking for.

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post me a reply before rejecting my answer.
If you are satisfied, accept my solution.

The cables you requirea re not special in any way, they are just standard dual RCA cables. I assume that you are trying to connect hte output of hte CD player to either the CD or AUX input of the receiver, yes?

If not, please further describe what you are looking for. Neither service manual is available electronically, only on paper.

Thanks,

How do I hook it to The tv

you may have an "intelligent" tv that only turns audio on when video is also present. if your tv is older, then go thru the menu options and look for option that turns back panel inputs to "on"...or it may be as simple as finding that option on the remote control.
