You need to go to Toshiba's WEB site to download the Vista drivers for the video, audio, modem, network card etc. specific to you model laptop. Goto www.toshiba.com the support/download page. You need to borrow or go to a friend's computer that has Internet access, after you download the drivers you then copy them to your computer and install these drivers.

Canon imageclass d880 info

What OS is the Vaio running? Canon has drivers for the 32-bit versions of Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. The Windows 7 driver may work with Windows 8 32-bit in the compatibility mode. However, most computers with Vista and later versions of Windows have the 64-bit OS; the exception are some machines that came with 2 GB or less of memory when new. Canon did not create a 64-bit driver for the imageCLASS D880. To check your OS version, go to the System Control Panel. (XP, Vista and Windows 7: Start > Control Panel (in the right hand column) > System and Security > System. In Windows 8: press the Windows key + X and do the same steps.) Then read the version information, if x64 is included then the 32-bit drivers won't work.

If you do have the correct driver installed for your OS, try swapping your data cable and changing the USB port, if in use. Do not use a USB hub but a direct connection to the computer. Check the device manager to make sure that there are no problems with the hardware drivers. (As above, go to the control panel. Then either in Hardware or System and Security choose the Device Manager. From the Windows key+X, just choose the Device Manager.) Expand the section for the type of port you are using and look for a triangle with a red X or yellow exclamation point. Try updating or uninstalling the driver and then letting the correct driver load when you reboot the computer. (Check with Sony for the driver.)

Next try uninstalling the printer and removing the data cable from your computer. Then install the driver from http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/office/imageclass_copiers/imageclass_d880/imageclass_d880#DriversAndSoftware . Then connect the printer to the computer when prompted to do so. Failure to install the Canon software first can interfere with the installation of the correct driver.

I hope this helps.

Not suitable from drivers if i install the drivers it will get bad resolutions.

Hi Jolito

You don't say which Operating System you use, so my answer will be presented in general, Windows terms. If yours is a non-Windows Operating System and my answer seems to be of some relevance to you, please consider applying the logic and principles involved here to your own Operating System and, if in doubt, please feel free to add a Comment or Clarification to this Question. Please include information about the Operating System. Doing so helps us makes faster, more accurate and more assured Remote Diagnostics leading to better quality and more useful Advice, Answers, Guidelines , How-Tos and Solutions.

The term "Drivers" is meaningless without associating it with an Operating System and a specific item of Hardware.

There is no such thing as a "Driver". There are only XP VGA LAN Drivers, Vista VGA Drivers or Windows7 Wireless Audio Drivers, Mac OSX Tiger WLAN Drivers. Mac OSX Leopard Epson Sx100 Printer Drivers, Mac OSX Lion Webcam Drivers, Linux Red Hat Midi Controller Drivers, Linux Ubuntu Media Player Drivers, etc.
Although drivers seem to mainly be about hardware, they are actually mainly about software. The Driver does not physically control the Motherboard's Devices. The BIOS and the Operating System do. What the Driver does is (just like a human interpreter for a guest who speaks a different language from his host), introduce the Device to the Operating System and help them to communicate with one another, with the Driver taking instructions from both and passing it back and forth between them.

So when one mentions Drivers, one must also mention the Operating System it will be talking to. In order for that to be possible, the 2 must share a common language. If they do not, then the role of 'interpreter' is impossible, because, then neither the Driver nor the Device will be able to understand what the Operating System is saying.

The drivers for all devices on all these laptops for only these Operating Systems listed here are freely available and can be downloaded from the eMachines Official Support Site for Drivers and Downloads.
If you are looking for Windows XP (64 Bit), Windows Vista or Windows 7 Drivers for these Laptops, you are wasting your time.

If your Operating System is among Windows 2000/ Windows Home Edition (32 Bit) and XP (32 Bit), then the Drivers for it can be easily downloaded from here:

I just reformatted my Fujitsu Lifebook A6120 Notebook. I installed all drivers with no problem except for the wireless lan driver. When I install it, it says cannot find driver.

Please include information about your computer and the history of its Operating System. Doing so helps us makes faster, more accurate and more assured Remote Diagnostics leading to better quality and more useful Advice, Answers, Guidelines , How-Tos and Solutions.

You also don't say what the actual reason is for you needing to install Drivers. Have you changed your Operating System? Did the computer's original Operating System start showing signs of corruption, leading you to try to fix it with Driver re-installation within the same Operating System? Or did the Computer's original Operating System fail, causing you to re-install the same Operating System as the only means of resolving the problem? These are pivotal issue.

The term "Wireless LAN Driver" is meaningless with a qualifying correlation to an Operating System.

Although drivers seem to mainly be about hardware, they are actually mainly about software. The Driver does not physically control the Laptop's Devices. The BIOS and the Operating System do that. What the Driver does is (just like a human interpreter for a guest who speaks a different language from his host), introduce the Device to the Operating System and help them to communicate with one another, with the Driver taking instructions from each and passing it back and forth between Operating System and Device.

So when one mentions Drivers, one must also mention the Operating System it will be talking to. In order for that to be possible, the 2 must share a common language. If they do not, then the role of 'interpreter' is impossible, because, then neither the Driver nor the Device will be able to understand what the Operating System is saying.

There are only XP Wireless LAN Drivers, Vista Wireless LAN Drivers, Windows 7 Wireless LAN Drivers, Mac OSX Tiger Wireless LAN Drivers, Mac OSX Leopard Wireless LAN Drivers, Mac OSX Lion Wireless LAN Drivers, Linux Red Hat Wireless LAN Drivers, Linux Ubuntu Wireless LAN Drivers, etc.

If you have not needed to install any other drivers, I would guess that you have Windows 7 installed on this computer, but unless you add a Comment/Clarification to this question specifying the details of the original Operating System and any subsequent Operating System Updates or Upgrades you have conducted. it is difficult to say.

This laptop came originally with Vista Home Premium 32 Bit or 64 Bit. The drivers (including the LAN and Wireless LAN Drivers - also sometimes referred to as WLAN, Wireless Network or 802.11 Drivers - needed to allow Internet access) for either of these Vista Operating Systems can be downloaded and installed from the Support & Downloads Page of Fujitsu's Official Website, here:

http://support.fujitsupc.com/CS/Portal/supportsearch.do

If you installed Windows XP or Windows 7 (32-Bit) on this computer, the Drivers are available from the same web page of the above Fujitsu Site.

If you only have only ever had Vista installed, all along, then:

Computer > System Properties > Device Manager

This will show you a list of all the installed Devices and if the icon for Wireless LAN or WLAN or 802.11, or indeed any other Driver is out of line, 'popped' out to the right with yellow exclamation or question marks against them, then download and install the affected Drivers using the website link included above, restart the computer and all should be well afterwards. When all the Devices in Device Manager are in nice, neat, straight line to the left of Device Manager, then all the drivers are likely to have been properly iinstalled and the Devices associated with them should function properly.

I hope this helps.

I have a sony vaio vgn-sz491n. i have loaded windows 7 professional, 64bit onto it. in the device manager, it shows that a driver for a mass storage controller is missing. where can i find this...

Most likely missing a driver for SD/MC card reader
The problem is that Sony doesnt offer drivers for 64-bit windows so the other 32-bit drivers will not be compatible.
You have the options to install the windows versions supported by sony from esupport.sony.com (Vista or XP)
Or try installing windows 7 32-bit and installing the missing drivers from esupport (Vista section) as usually they are compatible.
If the driver is still missing you will need to update the driver from device manager (previously installed from esupport) and then select to browse or select a location, which will be %temp% or what is the same the temp folder for your account C\users\your_user_name\appdata\temp. This folder is usually hidden but it will work if you just type %temp%

Wireless stopped working on my HP Compaq Presario laptop v6000

Hi there!

There should be another adapter available. The two you mentioned are not your primary wireless connection.

The device will usually have 802.11g/a/b or something similar in it's name. It might also say Intel PRO/Wireless.

I assume you are uninstalling it because it is malfunctioning. The task you are performing can sometimes fix whatever the problem might be, but in the case that it doesn't, I would recommend downloading the most recent driver for the wireless adapter

Driver for XP
- 32 bit

Driver for Vista - 32 bit

I hope this helps! Feel free to reply if you need anymore information or if you have questions.

Can not install video controller & modem on windows XP 64 bit

This Computer is not compatible with 64 bit operating system and all drivers will not work with 64-bit version. Do not wait for any answers, just reinstall 32-bit XP. However, the drivers you have already installed, do not work as a 64-bit, they work as a 32-bit.
