How can I delete VersaMail from my Palm T/X? I never use it. Thanks

The easier thing, would be to simply disable the conduit. Set the conduit to "Do nothing" via the HotSync Manager's "Custom" menu item and check the "Default" checkbox. Then the sync will just blow by the VersaMail conduit as if it wasn't there.
Or you can purchase Conduit Buddy:

Click on this link or copy and paste the complete link into your browser.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Is versamail the same as regular e'mail? do i just set it up and receive my e'mails?

It CANbe setup to send and recieve emails from email services using the POP3 or IMAP protocols. Too quote:

VersaMail's easy account setup wizard will get your mail accounts configured in a flash. The intuitive design will make you a power user in no time.

Get your email on your schedule.
Stay on top of your life with Auto Sync: get business and personal email automatically downloaded to your phone based on a schedule you specify, and new mail alerts based on your preferences. The VersaMail® email client supports up to 8 email accounts, including Yahoo!, AOL, and Gmail.

Access corporate email.
Using built-in Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, wirelessly sync Calendar, Contacts, and email with your company's Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 (access enabled by your IT administrator). Or, access business email using POP or IMAP and a compatible Virtual Private Network (VPN) client (sold separately).

Versamail Errors

hi first of all here are Support Knowledge Library links: http://kb.palmone.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE?New,Kb=PalmSupportKB,ts=Palm_External2001,case=obj(39328) there are two main reasons your mail will not get sent from VersaMail: 1) The outbound email server is not allowing your mail through. The server thinks your email is SPAM. Go to the section on Outgoing Mail server issues: http://kb.palmone.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE/,/?St=95,E=0000000000299122694,K=3846,Sxi=5,useTemplate=Case.tem,CASE=39211#outgoing 2) You have entered some of the information incorrectly in your setup and need to check for typos and verify the settings with your ISP or carrier. follow all the instructions home page: http://www.palm.com/us/support/lifedrive/ good luck

Setup Versamail with Outlook 2000

I use Versamail with my web-based, non-work email account (which is what it sounds like you have - web-based at least). I don't sync Versamail, I just use it to dial in to my account and download/send emails.

Treo 650 is not syncing with outlook calendar, but syncing with everything else.

You may have tried Exchange ActiveSync in VersaMail When you setup an Exchange ActiveSync account in VersaMail, you are asking your Treo to synchronize email and your calendar with an Exchance 2003 server. In order to prevent duplicates, VersaMail disables Calendar synchronization via HotSync while the account exists on your Treo. So if you are an Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) user, you have a choice; you either sync wirelessly or you can delete the EAS account in VersaMail and can then sync your Calendar via HotSync. You cannot do both unfortunately.

No synchronization when Outlook express is default mail program

Email synch is based on current MAPI preferences. The problem you have is that the VersaMail conduit assumes your mail client must be the MAPI default email client. You could adopt another profile in Outlook instead of OExpress which picks up the account you use in OE. This is the first instance of this problem I have ever heard of so I doubt if PalmOne would make a software change on this.

Is possible to sync only a specific folder of Outlook?

Yes - you can specify which folders. By default the VersaMail conduit synchronizes the Inbox folder from your Outlook/Exchange account. If you do just as you mentioned creating a MyPalm folder, you will be able to have only that folder synchronize. Open up the Custom menu item from the HotSync icon. From there select the VersaMail conduit and double click it. Select the account from the dialog that appears - if you have multiple VersaMail accounts, the one to choose is your Outlook profile name. Then click on the Advanced button. Choose the rightmost tab which is called Folders. Here you can individually select the folders which do and which do not synch. Turn the Inbox folder to No and turn the MyPalm folder the Yes. That is it.
