Question about Mitsubishi WD-65731 65" HDTV
My best suggestion is to take the entire box to a place that services TVs. They will open the box and replace the bulb for around $150-200. Cheaper than purchasing the bulb online and more reliable as they usually offer a 1 year warranty.
If that's not what you want to do, there's ONE screw that opens the casing and it's located on the top of the box. One screw that holds the lamp. BE SURE not to touch the lamp with your bare hands. Unplug the old bulb, plug in the new one. Be sure that the top is securely fastened to the casing. We had problems with ours.
Good Luck ;)

I have the same exact tv mitsubishi offers a one year warranty from the date of purchase the website is mitsubishi.com and if you don't have anymore warranty you have to pay $250.00 for the bulb. I didn't have the warranty anymore so I went to a website bluestar-online.com and I paid $129.00 for a WD65731 bulb and free shipping 2-3 days. Hope this helps.
