Nintendo 64 console does not work

Is there any way I could fix a nintendo 64 console that would not work after inserting an expansion pack? All I see is a blue screen. It worked fine before with out the expansion pack.

Try putting the old expansion pack back in and see if it works, make sure you are putting the expansion pack in the right way and make sure there is no dust or dirt in the expansion port.

I have one to guess what also an expansion pack ! so try first not putting an expansion pack if it works keep up what you r reading.

then blow on it and were you insert it put it try that again until like about 5 times if it doesnt work check the wires that go to the tv wipe em clean em and make shure you put them correctly. try turning it on if it doesnt still work kick it madly kidding so.............. um were was i o yea check the cables arent made balls so put them correctly and try to blow and wipe were you insert cartidges and the cartrige and if it doesnt work well i dont know everything! Good luck.

How to play Donkey Kong 64 without Expansion pack

Donkey Kong 64 was one of only three Nintendo 64 games to require the Expansion Pak (the others being The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and Perfect Dark), which provides 4 MB more RAM for enhanced graphics and more expansive environments, as well as to fix a game-breaking bug.We don't think that you can play this game with no expansion pack. I have tried to play perfect dark with no expansion pack and it was not all there then.

My Nintendo 64 isn't turning on. Its pretty old but it seemed to work a couple of months ago. i've tried cleaning the dust on the outside and blowing on the plug-ins. What else can i do? I really miss...

Well try a new expansion pack to see if it works again then. I had a similar problem like this with my 14 yearold N64 console so I tried a new expansion pack in it and it worked again.

Inserted Ram Expansion Nintendo 64

I would just look at the bottom of the RAM and see if there isn't any dust, I get that problem with my NES and NES games only diffrence is it shows a pink screen instead of a blue screen. I clean the treads of the cartrages including the RAM with a very light damp cu tip. Hope that works out.

Too many variables to answer this yet. Where did the expansion pak come from? Was it new or used? Was a jumper pak in place and the console working before you installed the expansion pak? Did you unplug the console before removing the jumper pak and installing the expansion pak?
