How do you fix a frozen mouse for a acer aspire 5315-2077 laptop?
I have a acer aspire 5315-2077 laptop my mouse froze, and wont unfreeze, everything works except the mouse, the touch pad doesnt make the cursor move no matter how much tapping and rubbing, how do i fix this? its been frozen for two days already :( its only 1 year old

Try restarting your computer by pushing the windows button on the bottom of the keyboard on the left side, generally next to the ALT button. use your arrow keys to move over to the shut down button, select restart and restart your computer. Or you can shut down and then push the power button to start up your computer. This should help reset your laptop and unfreeze your mouse.
If this does not work, go to the control panel, again using the windows button and the arrow keys. select mouse, then go thru the tabs on the window to make sure that your mouse pad is selected to control your mouse.

Plug in a USB mouse, and go to Contol Panel>system>device manager and click on the +sign next to pointing devices. Right click touchpad and uninstall the touchpad, then reboot the computer, remove the usb mouse. Windows will pick up the touchpad as new hardware and re-install the drivers for it etc..
