Compatible dvd-r discs?

I am having a problem with finding compatible DVD-R discs for the Panasonic DMR-E75V.  I recently bought discs from TDK and Magnavox and both were incompatible.  What and where can I find discs that work?

I've never had much luck with DVD-R's but the DVD+R's that I've used work just fine; Verbatim and TDK have both worked.

Trouble with DVD+RW Disks being compatiable or staying formatted

cos they are cheap - get some decent branded discs such as TDK or tayo yuden and it should be fine

Also check the manual and or requirements on there website and it should show which are the best discs to use for that player but TDK or tayo yuden should be fine.

www.svp.co.uk or any where you can buy discs from should be fine

DVD PLAYER

Did you finalize the disc? You must do this on the recorder you made it on and then it will play on other players.

Help w/ panasonic burner

I own one and it is a pain to work. Put in the disc and vhs tape and hit the bottom right button, I believe it says DVD and above it says dubbing. Hold it for a few seconds and the screen will come up and the system will do the rest recording from your VHS tape to the disc. You MUST finalize the disc after you are finished if you want to watch it in another DVD players if not it will only work on the Panasonic. Hope this helps. Panasonic DMR-ES30V

I have three Panasonic DVD recorder/Vhs combos and I get the same problem from time to time...it may be the disks you are using.  Mine absolutely hate Sony disks.  I have the best luck with TDK or Maxell.  You also must clean your unit frequently, if you do alot of recording.  I use my units daily.

Hope this helps
