Open "Devices and Printers" in start menu.
Right click printer with green arrow - click see whats printing.
Delete all documents.
Restart computer - then restart printer
See if that clears your error messages.
1. First make sure you are in Copy Mode
2. Load document
3. Enter the number of copies you want using the number pad
4. Press Duplex and "up arrow" or "down arrow" to select 1sided>2sided L
5. Press Start to copy the document.
FYI - if you get an Out of Memory message while making duplex copies, you might need to install extra memory.
To reset waste ink counter: Press Menu-Scan-Copy-Scan to enter service menu. Use arrow keys to scroll to "Service menu counter access". Press OK. Use arrow keys to scroll to "ABS-M DOT COUNT" Press Copy. Use arrow keys to reset count to zero. Press OK. Press Stop/Reset.
Reset for mp130 turn on the printer press menu press scan, copy, scan to enter service mode use> to get to nvram set ABS-M level to 0 Set ABS-P level to 0 Press stop to exit..........Done
Take the printer to a qualified printer technician.
He/she will empty the waste-container,
and "reset" the electronics inside the printer,
to tell the printer that the waste-ink container has been emptied.
Scanner failure will not let you to make copies nad scan but you will be able to print from computer and receive fax.
Even then try the steps mentioned bellow:
Remove both the ink cartridges from the All-In-One. Unplug the power cord from the All-In-One as well as the power outlet. Now move the carriage (carriage is the one which holds the cartridge) Too and Fro till you feel the carriage is moving smoothly. Then insert the cartridges close the access door. Plug the power cord directly to a wall outlet without surg protector (If possible connect it to a different power outlet) Before connecting the power cord to the All-In-One press and hold the # and no 6 button and then insert the power cord, do not release the keys until you see a message a reset (if the screen goes blank then release the keys and turn the power on) Now try printing Printing from computer,
If you are able to print from computer you should be able to receive faxes.
Try printing a test fax.
Press Menu/Setup> Then press the right arrow key to locate Tools> Then Press Ok> Again press the right arrow key to locate Run Fax Test> And press OK
