Cover open I just changed my cartridge and I'm trying to print my new sample page but the printer is giving me a "Cover Open" problem. The cover is clearly closed on the printer but I still cannot print. Does anyone have any solutions?

This is the problem the cover switch in the printer you need to replace the switch this switch is very difficult to find in the printer is usually hidden ,you need to check the cover there will be a projection in the cover which will go into a slot thats where the switch is located...

Good luck...

Run the 1/2 print test.
Print a few pages that have failed previously and as the printer is printing open the cartridge cover(top cover).
Pull out the cartridge and look at the paper down below. If the page looks good, you probably need a new fuser. If the page is messed up you could have a bad transfer roller or another bad toner cartridge.

With my HP C4150 I keep getting the error "remove and check print cartridge on the right" I have replaced the cartridge and its still messed up. Any clues?

Sometimes get that statement if your using generic cartridges. Also when changing an hp cartridge usually it will require you to align the page after changing the cartridge. Could try alligning maybe that will remove the error message.
