SOUND windows dosent sound like its supose to and games sound like cut in the middle of ther words

after you plug in your headset box dont you have to Pair the headphones like any other bluetooth ?

Intermittent problems are always the hardest to diagnose but I would start by going to the device manager and deleting the sound drivers. Then a reboot and as your machine restarts it will reinstall the soundcard drivers and if the game has corrupted the drivers that should your your problem. Should it continue you will need to find updated drivers for Windows 7.

this is the beginning stages of a hard drive failure. one of these times you will turn your xbox on to get sound but no picture. microsoft dosent cover this on warranty as it dosent trigger any blinking red lights but it is a general hard drive failure. your best bet it to find someone locally who can fix this problem. its cheaper than having to buy a new one

This is a common issue with the older I Spy titles.

Basically, your soundcard is too powerful and the game can't handle it so the audio cuts out.

Lowering the Sound Acceleration level will usually fix this.

The easiest way to do this in XP is via the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.

Click on the START button, select RUN, type in DXDIAG and click OK.

If you are prompted to check for compatibility choose NO.

When the diagnostic window appears click on the Sound tab.

Drag the Sound Acceleration slider all the way to the left, and exit the Diagnostic Tool.

The sound should now work.

do the settup again you forgot to do the the sound settings you're suposed to do HDMI for the sound too. hope that helps

The drivers are working, but you apparently have a non asynchronous driver, meaning it either records, or plays, but has trouble doing both.

Gamers usually like their sound a bit beefier than the standard AC97 chip common with mainboards can produce, I would suggest first making absolutely sure your machine is clear of virii, etc,, turn off the windows sounds, because most earlier built-in sound chips cannot multi-client, and if you still have the problem, go for a USB sound box like the M-audio Transit, for around $100, it will give you high definition sound, both in and out, and you won't have to open your PC to install it.

Mind, I am not a shill for M-Audio, but for gamers, you really need the 24bit/96KHz out, to match your game's audio.

You will also find your games may run more smoothly, as the audio role is now in the little box, rather than your CPU.

The digital out can go to your home theater system, the 5.1 really makes it more fun.

Check to see if it's not mute. Go into the Contol panel for the sound and check the setting ther. Make sure that all the right devices are in order. You can also check to see if other media will pla....mp3s, cds, dvd, etc. Use "process of elimination" to determine the cause.

Yeah i had the same prblem too. So it's either the game disk's have scratches in the middle of the game disk or the xbox is messed up. I would take it in somewhere to get it fixed if something is wrong with your Xbox.

Friend there are two possible solutions that i can suggest:
1) Maybe you don't have an updated antivirus on your computers
so a part of your driver maybe corrupted.
A possible solution is to install an updated antivirus program if you do not not have any or update it to your antivirus company's web site if you have already. After doing this reinstall your driver for your sound card. Then there you go.
2) Maybe you are not using a sound card (it is recommended that you use a soundcard to have the best sound). If you do not have one you'll need to buy one. After doing this repeat my solution number 1).

is this a new pc? did the sound work before?

Right click my computer icon on desktop, select properties, under hardware tab,select device manager,
expand the "sound,video and game controllers" and check if you have a red X mark on any of your devices.
