Hi mrfeld, The TC-26x50 has only an analog tuner, if you want to recieve the new broadcast OTA signals you will need a Set Top Box. Let me know if you need further explanation and please rate this solution. LOne99star

It appears that during the storm there may have been an electrical surge that damaged the electronics of your tv. If the tuner is working fine then the affected area (board) is the one that has the HDMI input sources.

Power surge, tuner board out, can't find replacement anywhere


Contact the authorized service center for Panasonic. Normally, Panasonic Tuners are very difficult to obtain by local electronic spare part market.

CNET.com does product reviews on TV set. The specs from the site says your 26" 720p TV has only an analog tuner. Hope that helps.
