Question about Apple iPod MP3 Player
My ipod screen went white. I tried the two button hold and it turned the screen off and then on - but did not show the apple icon. I connected it to iTunes and it recognized the ipod, repaired and restored it - but is still does not show the charging battery icon. I was able to sync it but nothing shows. Is this a battery problem? Is there a way to charge it or check if it's charging? I have a 4th gen 4GB - bought new October 2008 - so only about 3 mths old.
I have also googled all solutions and see a lot of fixes where the apple screen comes on? Any help appreciated.
The beeps sadly mean you have a hardware issue with the unit. You can attempt to reset it while it is connected to a power source but my best solution would be to call apple since you are still under your one year warranty. Just if they ask about ANY kimd of accidental damage say no. It voids your warranty. Here is the number 1-800-APL-CARE (1-800-275-2273)

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
