rotor and cap look to be in good shap i wiped cap no carbon
when i take off the spark plug cap's and hold it from the motor alittle i get a good spark. But when i put on the cap's i get no spark
so this is an external coil ? you crank motor and spark comes out of coil , but when you put coil wire on to cap , no secondary spark thru the spark plug wire correct ? then bad coil wire , cap or rotor issue .
you didn't forget your rotor by chance , ,, or inspect the rotor for a hole burned into it .
