It looks like a Panasonic? not real bad but off, you might if have the original remote try to go into the menu for Convergence and see if the several crosses that can be called up will adjust---looks like red is offset some but might be adjustments
if the red or blue will not adjust enough or at all in some direction the two chips the set uses would have to be replaced, if its panasonic I have instructions for those---tell you everything you will need and how to do it--YOU will NEED a working Panasonic remote to see if set will adjust or not and after replacing the parts to adjust.

Let me know the model/brand and if you can solder or what? Soldering is involved if the chips are bad and need to be replaced.

18 pins on each chip Your video looks like the red is offset to the right on the left side of the screen. the chips may not need to be replaced if the convergence adjustment in the customer menu will move the red to the left in that area.

It would help a lot to know the model number, it sounds like a convergence problem but I need to know the age and model number (both are on the back of the set.)

How do i watch a 3d movie on my 55"thorn tv?

the tv automaticly determines if it should go to 3D mode as long as the DVD player or say like PS3 or PS4 is connected to HDMI (yes those two game consoles will support HD Blueray 3D and DVD 3D movies) if the TV isnt displaying 3D look into the video settings of your TV to enable that ability also your TV will come with 3D glasses if the TV supports 3D

We are confused on what we need to do to actually get the 3D glasses to work with our tv.

Only certain channels are 3D and are usually marked in channel description as being a 3D content channel and those are only ones in which the glasses make it look 3D. A 3D channel viewed without the glasses would be noticeably different looking than a regular channel. You cannot just put on the glasses on a 3D TV and think all channels are 3D. Sports and live programming now is the most popular content in 3D on regular TV and there are DVDs made in 3D. It appears that 3D may be on verge of being dead as many of the national networks have abandoned plans for 3D platform and ESPN which being live sports is most likely to be the easiest to transmit in 3D has said the will stop their work on adding 3D content. I believe the 4k sets and content are what is driving this as most providers would rather invest capital money into 4k which is in demand far more than 3D and cheaper to do as well.

What kind of TV supports 3D?

You need to look for TV's labeled 3D ready feature a screen capable of displaying 3D content, and have the necessary emitter built-in. One important thing to keep in mind is that you'll need more than just a 3D TV to watch 3D at home - you'll also need pairs of 3D Glasses for anyone watching, as well as a 3D video source, like a 3D Blu-ray movie.

Hi, how can I check if my 3D glass's are working ?

@nah9

You can tell if you're 3D glasses are working if you can see if the images in the movie or the game that you're playing pop-up in and out and you can see a depth and float as you watch.

If you have a 3D enabled PC, you can test it yourself by running a sample stereoscopic 3D test application here. You could also find additional information here.

How to play a 3d movie on a normal HD screen.............

Unfortunately, there is no way you can do this without making some adjustments to either the movie clip or to your TV.
These adjustments could eventually end up in making the 3D movie more or less a normal HD movie.
The best way is to buy a 3D TV and glasses. This would help you watch the movie in 3D.

3D doesn"t work

You will need a 3D-capable or 3D Ready tv. The difference is the 3D-capable tv will require you to buy a piece of equipment called an emitter to connect to it. The 3D Ready tv already has an emitter. You will also need a 3D bluray player or Playstation 3, 3D glasses, and hdmi version 1.4 cables. You will need 3D glasses and 3D bluray Dvds. If you want to watch something besides bluray dvds you would have to subscribe to direct tv as they are now offering some 3D broadcasting.

Looks like watching 3D movie(colors) and rounded

This is a convergence problem and is either bad connections on the convergence ICs or defective ICs. If you feel that you can solder, you should be able to repair this yourself. First try resoldering the pins on the convergence ICs. If that fails, replace the ICs. These ICs are large black ICs attached to a heatsink and should be marked STKxxx.
Keep us posted.
