From your phone's menu, select 'settings'. Go to 'connectivity', select 'bluetooth'. Under the bluetooth menu, you would see the following sub menu 1. Blue tooth can be set to either 'on' or 'off'. 2.conn. to audio access - you select this if yuo want to connect your phone to a bluetooth earpiece. 3. Paired device under this, you would see 'add new device'. You select it if there is a new device you want to add. 4. Active devices - it shows any device that is active. 5. Phone visibility. Select 'always visible' if you want your device to always be visible to any active device. Select 'temporarily visible' if you want to be temporarily visible. Select 'hidden' if you want to be hidden. To other devices. 6. My phones' name. Select this to change your phones' name from the default to any name of your choice.

Make sure that the blue-tooth is active on the PC and the phone. Now search for devices and when it detects , confirm the passcode and accept the device so as to allow the transfer of files.
Open blue-tooth settings in phone from settings and in PC from blue-tooth manager.
Try installing the bluetooth driver from the driver disc that you should get when you bought the laptop. If it says bluetooth device is not found, push the bluetooth button once and try again. If it still says that the device is not found, then most probably your laptop have no bluetooth.
This is true for some Acer laptops that I've meddled with. I did what I said, assumed that there's no bluetooth device, only to have it confirmed by the owner that the seller already mentioned that his model have no bluetooth.
You need a active blue-tooth connection for the connection. Turn on your blue-tooth of the mobile and search for the devices. it will show you the list of devices you can connect to. Select the one you need.
find somebody else with blue tooth on their phone or get a device that is blue tooth ie hands free kit then on your phone select search for bluetooth devices if it finds any then select the item you want ie a friends phone or blue tooth if it says it is active then your blue tooth is working but to use the item with bluetooth you have to select the item it should come up as a list of items select the one you want then this should pick it up and this should solve your problem if not post back and i will try again hope this is some help.........................
