I am recieving LED code errors 1 and 3 with beeping sounds upon attempting to boot up. I was able to reboot twice since then but not anymore. Is there anything I can do to try and fix this?

Can I re install the program and try again. All this happened about 2 days after install.

Installing the PreSonus INSPIRE 1394. It is on a cd from the manufacture. Here is a problem you might be able to assist me on... I noticied when going through the steps in the User Manual it states to continue anyway even though the software has not passed the Windows LOGO testing. Windows states that this could seriously destabilze the CPU. I have looked on their homepage and they offer updates to drivers and tech support. Any thoughts on this.

Windows 7 on dell xps m1710 - problem with cpu performance. according to device manager the drivers are in correctly. but i can see in windows performance information, it is very poor rating compared to...

CPU does not need a driver. the 'driver' is nothing more than a way to identify the CPU. (ie model, stepping, etc). I would suggest ignoring windows and run a Dell diagnostic. if the hardware checks out ok, then its a programming issue. It could also be a BIOS issue. Check the BIOS to make sure CPU cache is enabled, and everything is set for high performance. If your machine is under warranty, CALL DELL and have it serviced or replaced.

Wireless issues with my Dell XPS/Dimension One desktop

Even if it's a new Dell, you may need to update either the drivers for the wireless card or the BIOS.

Also, verify which protocol your Dell is set to use (i.e. 802.11g, 802.11b, auto-select, etc.). Dell may have fixed to to a slower protocol for compatibility.

Unable to reboot CPU

when its powering on let it get a little ways in then hold the power on off button until it just shuts off. Then boot it on and see if it gives you a safe boot option if it does select it. Then do a system restore to before this problem started. Hopefully this will restore the drivers.
