Question about RCA RT2760 System
When I load 4 folders with 10 mp3s in each folder from my PC to the USB Flash stick device, and then plug it into the RCA RT2870 USB plug, and select "USB mode", it reads the USB device as "F4 T40" - so that means 4 folders (the "F'), and 40 songs total (the "T").
My question is how do I get to F3 (or Folder 3) without having to press the remote control "skip button" 20 times in order to get to song #21 (i.e. the first song in Folder 3?)
Do I need an mp3 player to do this? And if so, what mp3 player is compatible? I already tried my Ipod Nano, and it wasn't compatible for the USB mode. I tried running it through the "line-in" Mode and it sounded disappointingly bad.
Thanks for any help.
I have this same system and it looks like the USB playback is lacking this feature, of switching folders. A workaround is to use shuffle play to jump to one of the last songs in the first folder, then turn off shuffle and skip forward a few songs until you get into the next folder....and so on. Not very good, but for this price I was glad to have USB playback.
Some generic MP3 players will work in the USB port, but they play exactly the same as a USB drive. SO no real solution for this.
