Question about Acer Aspire One PC Notebook
I purchased an Acer Aspire One for my daughter for Christmas. I have a Microsoft Word Suite 2003 disc that I purchased a few years ago. Before purchasing the notebook for Christmas, I purchased an update version of Microsoft Office 2007 for my own computer (which was expensive). Since the Aspire One doesn't have a CD-ROM, is there any way to get the Word suite on the notebook without having to spend any more money?
One solution is USB memory stick.
You can copy contents of a CD to USB drive, and then run the installation from there.
You will need memory stick large enough to support this data (512 MB or 1 GB, it depends).
Create a folder named Word on USB disk, then copy all the files and folders from a CD to this folder.
Insert USB disk in Aspire One and run setup.exe from this folder you created.
