Hi i have a kodak z612 and its new and it has lines running through the pics but when reviewing pics there are no lines its never been dropped or gotten wet ...what can i do to fix this problem..
I also have the same problem. I dropped mine though at a super bowl party...and it now doesn't want to focus correctly or not at all, has horizintal line through it and then when review them, they are gone. I downloaded the pics onto my computer and it is trash. I am quite upset. Any ideas on how to fix this?

What happens when you press the Review button? Hmmm???? I mean, can you elaborate a little? I promise I will not sell the information to a Foreign Power.
Have you tried taking the card out and view the images in your computer through a memory card reader?
If this doesn't apear on the print pictures taken directly from the SD card. It has something to do with the settings for the picture transferre on your computer.
Try and reset/adjust the settings within the transferre programe. I cannot tell you the eact steps for that since it will depend on the programe you're using. But it can usually be done right before transferring pics to the computer.
If helpful pls. recommend/rate me and or give me a review. TXS
I've had sinilar problems with mine. I bought it in November of 2006 and sent it back to Kodak (under warranty) 3x before they finally agreed to replace it (with a refurbed unit). Well, that was in June of 2007 and the problem is now baaaack with the reoplacement camera (same model)... I'm requesting Kodak replace it with another model, but I'm "out of warranty" and they want me to pay them $145 to repair (which they've never been able to fix for me). So I am requesting them to replace with a different model.
