Question about Craftsman Saws
Recently obtained a Craftsman 10" Band Saw Model 113.244513. The blade was not on it. Found a manual online and thought I did everything according to the directions but every time I turn it on the blade runs off the wheels.
A lot of the larger band saws, and I don't know about your particular model, has an ajustment on the bottom wheel that tilts the wheel in order to track the blade. It is right at the axle and tilts it from there. If the back guide is a roller bearing I woud think you would want to roll all of the time. If a solid bearing block natually a small space where it will not hit is enough.

Check this blog first. Are you installing a new blade? If the blade is running backwards, you just have to reverse it, turn inside out. Try watching the Alex Snodgrass' Youtube video Band Saw Tune Up .
