Since you declined to specify the model of your Uniden DECT 6.0 system, I can only direct you to select the model from the list beginning at
http://www.uniden.com/owners-manuals/dect-phones/scat/dectphones_mnl to download a copy of the manual.
Hi there, don't worry changing ring tone it's a very easy task. All you have to do is go to the main menu on your phone. From there you wanna go to settings, and you should see and option there to change the ringtone. In the other hand if your phone has sound files that can be used as a ring tone, then all you have to is go to the location of that file (it's usually located under "my stuff" "my music" etc) and select the file, from there you can select that file to assign as a ring tone. If you need further instructions you might want to put the make and model of your phone. Good luck!
Sounds like the phones have not been registered to the base unit. Look in the manual for directions on how to get the phones and the base unit to talk to each other. Sorry, I don't have any details on theis model to look up the instructions.
