Question about HP LaserJet 3330 All-In-One Printer

HP 3330 Scanner is very slow

I have had my HP 3330 for 6 years. It has been very dependable as a copy/print/fax. I recently started using its scanning capabilities. I installed the HP drivers. I have to scan multiple page documents from the ADF as PDF files. The scanning time is 1 page every 2 or 3 minuets and I have constant jams and scanner errors. Is there anything that I can do to improve the performance of this machine? Are there any updated drivers I could install? Or is this just old technology that needs to be replaced. I'm using Windows XP home.

PDF files are notoriously slow to print. You might invest in more printer memory.

Copy and Scanner not responding


Copier may require you use the scan feature to make copies either ise the feeder otr flatbed. Press start on machine for manual entry but still use scan to get things working.

Odds are that you have a bad toner cartridge; especially common when using remanufactured cartridges. (Staples, Corporate Express, etc.) Replace your cartridge with an OEM HP cartridge and you should be OK.

Tried to print something from the glass, got error message


this is usually the case when certain settings that are required by the registry are not in place, The solution could be as simple as unistall the scanner driver restart the system and reinstall the scanner driver.

If this doent work get back old registry values by going to start-Programs-accessories-system tools -system restore and restore the settings to the time when youre sure the scanner worked .

HP Officejet 6210 will not copy, scan or fax. It will print documents from the computer. Any attempt to do the other 3 functions results in it being "busy" and cannot cancel, have to power it off.

My scan copies are light anf fuzzy. I have an HP 3050 purchased in April of this year. I do not use the fax at all. Just print and Scan


When into programs on computer and went to scanner. Was able to change the dpi and change the copies to black and white from color.

Fax and cancel lights are flashing

A Scanner Bulb Error message is received as a result of the HP LaserJet 3300mfp series product scanner’s inability to find the home reference point.
SOLUTION:
Perform the following steps to walk the scan assembly from the home base and resolve the issue.
1. Remove and replace the power cord from the unit.
2. Wait approximately 35 seconds for the scanning assembly to “walk out" and then quickly remove the plug again.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2, three to four times until the head moves approximately 1 inch away from its normal resting place.
4. Replace the plug and let the product fully finish the boot cycle.

Hp 3330 line prints on document when faxing or copying


does this problem appear when you copy from ADF? if yes check the rollers, perhaps something stuck on them.otherwise try to clean the glass
