Hi,
You just put the green one into the green hole, if there is one. It is the plug for the speakers/headphones. And the pink one goes into the red hole usually, that's for the microphone.
If you have sound coming from your computer at all, then the drivers necessary to use your headset are already installed.
If you are going to use Messenger or Skype, just go to the audio setting and try the different devices from the drop down list until you select the correct one. You'll know it's the correct one, because you'll see movement in the audio bar in settings.

Hope this helps!

You don't need drivers.. your computer doesn't 'recognise' them because they aren't a 'device' and don't require a driver..
They just require a suitable program with which they can be used, like Skype/Messenger/AIM etc
Thought I'd better just add that..

What's your computer? and operating system?
You may need to unmute the mic and turn up something in Vome Control/Mixer etc..

It's possible you are plugging into the onboard audio plugs instead of the sound card, or vice versa?

I cannot set up h110 headset in my windows xp

Just connect the two connectors to your computer sound card.
Your computer should have a pink connector for the mic and a green for the speakers. You also could plug the speaker (headset) into the orange if your sound card has that colour.

Then you just adjust the volume for the headset with the sound settings of the computer.

The program you want to use the headset with, will also allow you to fine tune the set.

You did not specify the problem here, friend. But I think the problem might be the sound or the input microphone or headset...
If you hear no sound or voice you suspect first the headset or the speaker. Try to use good speaker and or headset to know if there is no problem within those device. If you hear nothing...the problem is the sound card and you need to replace the sound card with new

try a USB headset instead. otherwise driverguide.com is a good place to get drivers installed. or go to the ACER support page and download the sound driver driver. If you need more help let me or someone here know.

Hello, When I connect my headset on my laptop Asus a7sv I get sound but no sound from the speakers. I have Windows Vista en I downloaded the original driver from the asus website. I tried everything....

Most headphone jacks operate as you describe. There is a switch built into the jack that diverts the audio from the speakers to the headphones for "private listening". If it didn't work this way, there would be no way that you could enjoy an audio track or other program with others having to hearing it, too.

You could get around this problem by using an external speaker set and a "splitter cable".
moz-screenshot.pngfaaa714.jpg
A splitter cable is simply a three ended cable like the one pictured above. The first end has a male plug that matches the jack on your computer - likely a stereo mini plug. The other two ends are usually the same; but the female version. You would plug the splitter into the SPEAKER jack and the laptop speakers would be silenced. Next, you would plug the the external speakers into one of the splitter jacks and then your headset would plug into the remaining splitter jack. You would connect the microphone plug into the MIC jack on the laptop.

You'll have to tinker with the sound levels as there will be feedback issues - depending on how close and loud the speakers are to the headset microphone.

Please rate this reply - and good luck!

If the driver is alright of course is a setting or you haven't plugged the microphone right on the sound card. See also if the micro is cut from the settings or or the volume is low. Check these first
