NO CAR AUDIO SOUND COMING FROM DOOR SPEAKERS!!!

Couple of months ago my husband decided that he needed to hook up an external amp and subwoofers to it. Well for awhile it sounded great, then all of a sudden something happened and all of the audio coming out of the door speakers quit. The actual stock infinity stereo will still power up but there is absolutely no sound coming out of any of the door speakers, in face the only audio that will come out at all is from the external subs and all that is, is pure bass. I wanna know what in the hell happened, why do I no longer have any sound coming out of my door speakers and how do I fix this problem without having to take it to a expensive dealer/car audio store? PLEASE HELP THIS DESPERATE WIFE!!!! All I want is to listen to music as I am driving down the road!!!

The possible CAUSES of the problem you describe are NUMEROUS!.. You may have what the industry calls a 'LEMON.' There is a LEMON law in every state. Sinse it's a 2009 model, keep at them (dealership). Warranty procedures APPLY! You may not like it, but you are covered under WARRANTY!.. I'm sorry, but under the warranty agreements between Hyundai Motor America and the Dealerships, you are relegated to KEEP AT them. The most difficult problems/malfunctions to diagnose are those which DON'T STAY BROKEN! Tell you what, since you posted your problem here, you'll have to do some homework yourself (become a Hyundai Certified Technician).. then you'll see how DIFFICULT the diagnosis can be. Walk a mile in the technician's shoes! Sometimes the problem can simply be a resistive/poor ground
circuit, OR, could be potentially a multitude of different problems. Take/tow the vehicle into a Hyundai Service Center (dealership), Insist they find out what the problem is!... Then you'll have the option of having them buy it back under the "Lemon Law.'

SOURCE: i am trying to find

Wayne, as an anti theft measure there are no universal codes on factory decks and they're specifically programmed for that reason.

The code your your programmed deck is within the owners manual and can only be retrieved or reprogrammed by the dealer.

Or an audio tech that either has a code feeder or factory { or black market } manual of compromised coding.

The data plate or VIN is also helpful when tracking coding for year / make / model coding.

I'd advise against any just trying any assortment of random number combo's.

Because after so many failed attempts. There's a system memory that will make the entire deck shut down.

SOURCE: no sound from new stereo

check the speakers in the rear deck, in the rear hatch or trunk, often the two wires that come out of the speaker touch if that happens it will short out the speaker drivers in the radio most times no permanant damage will occur. separate the wires so they do not touch,or touch the metal speker base, that may not be the problem but its a start..

SOURCE: Where do i start with the electrical problems on my 2003 tiburon

I've had my '03 Tib's BCM replaced 3 times now. If you have the chip-in-key factory security feature, you can't use a second-hand BCM because it's programmed to your specific key.

I'm not aware of any cases where the BCM caused the speakers to crackle, but the parking light thing definitely sounds like the BCM.

In the yukon it has preamplify,if you disconnect stock stereo the amp is not workind unless you know how to find it. You gotta let the car-toy hook it up for you.

97 dakota installed radio harness have power no sound

If you still haven't fixed this, look at your wiring harness. The blue wire that comes off your factory harness is the external amp in the Infinity stereo. I found this out when I hooked my Pioneer head unit up. Coming off the aftermarket stereo should be a blue wire that says remote. Hook those up and you should be good to go.
