You do not need to reset, unless you do not have the password for logging in to the router, this is different from the network key.

Please follow my instructions which I have written here:-

I dont know my wep key for my d link

Reset it to factory default. There will be a little pen size reset hole on the bottom you have to hold for 10 seconds and then reboot the device. It will be factory defaults and you can put in a new WEP key.

Is there any computer connected to the router with the Ethernet cable?
If not then connect 1 computer to the router and open the router set up page. Once you open the router set up page, you will be able to find the wireless network key.

My wireless network is detected by my computer, but I cannot connect, what should i do?

If your network is WEP or WAP encrypted try to reconnect your computer and provide the key. Else go to your PC and Remove all wireless netork configurations you made so far to connect to the network. Restart your computer and search for the network. Don't configure the PC for the new network just search for a wireless network and when you find it connect it.

N.B. Check your wireless adapter's IP. If your network uses automatic IP addressing check to see if your computer's IP is set to automatic no static
