It goes on the shaft of the electric motor the belt goes around the drum should be a set screw on pulley reattach to shaft tighten then looosen bracket on motor apply tension and tighten you may have to go to the hardware st ore and get another screw if yours is lost as a tip apply red loctite to the threads to prevent it from vibrating loose they have that at the hardware store or auto store
