Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional for PC

1 Answer

Roboform/mozilla error This error continues to pop up was working good until Yesterday. This Adapter (6-9-92) supports only Firefox ver. 1.5 to 3.0.*. You are using 3P_UVRM/1.00.1 ver. . This browser is not supported. Please upgrade RoboForm Adapter to the latest version or downgrade your browser. Reason: Cannot register component.

I have tried upgrading and downloading but this does not work. I have found this answer but don't understand how to do the following. We have found Roboform has trouble when extra items are inserted in the User Agent....

This is what it reads as.....
    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 3P_UAMG/1.0.25.0 Firefox/3.0.1

The stuff I have bolded, us what is causing the trouble. Its caused by a toolbar you installed.
Use LoudNoise's fix to unbaffle Roboform.

Apparently Firefox updated itself to the most recent version available, which is not compatible with RoboForm Adapter.

Try to find more recent version of RoboForm Adapter.

Tip

Numbers Come Up Instead of Letters

This a very common issue faced by a technical support like me. What happens is that when you type any random letters the output will numbers from 1-0 in exact order. For example, you type "qwertyuiop" on the address bar, what comes up is "1234567890" and if you continue typing, it will start from 1 again in numeric sequence until you're done. Not until lately. I have just discovered how to resolve it. First, I thought it was a problem with OS - Windows Update incompatibility, so I reinstalled my OS and set the computer back to factory state but as windows updates were installed same issue happened. By the way this issue only happens on browsers like Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc.. On my laptop, I have a software called ID VAULT. I uninstalled the ID VAULT thinking that I have no use of that and also it made me think that the problem can be caused by either a browser or a security software which conflicts with windows updates. Aside from the ID VAULT I also uninstalled my Google Chrome Browser and just used Mozilla Firefox. So guys if ever you encounter an issue like this, look for either software (ID VAULT or Google Chrome) and try typing an email or anything at all on your browser.

***Note: if you only have a Google Chrome browser make sure you install a different browser first before uninstalling Google Chrome. Also, this trick doesn't work for laptops whose NumLock is enabled.

I play fv and I use google chrome but never loads. Tried mozilla firefox and adobe crashes. Tried internet explorer but no luck. What do I need to do? It's very aggravating. I've been having lots...

Man you have to download the supporting mozilla firefox , internet explorer and adobe flash player.
that means these softwares must support your windows vista service pack 1.but i personally advice you that you have to upgrade to windows 7 ultimate or home edition.most of the softwares supports windows 7.i think that you got the solution.

I can't insall Roboform on my Mac OS X tiger 10.4.11 it keeps saying not supported

First, make sure that you downloaded the roboform for MAC OS.
There are two versions of RoboForm for Safari, so you must choose which one is compatible for you:

Full RoboForm Toolbar (recommended for Mac users)
RoboForm Lite Extension (recommended for Safari on Windows)You can find the download link here:

http://www.roboform.com/platforms/browsers/safari

I hope this helped you out. =)

Note: Pop-up Blocker helps get rid of annoying/unwanted pop-ups. You can also add your trusted websites in it's exceptions list so that you will not disable your pop-up blocker. Click on EXCEPTIONS for Mozilla Firefox and SETTINGS for Internet Explorer. Refer to the pictures above.

Thank you for using FixYa.

I am constantly getting ''script'' errors and I do not know how to debug

If I correctly interpret what you want to do...

Download FireFox
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/personal.html

See if you still get the script errors. If you do, download the FireBug add-on for firefox:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1843

FireBug is a great debugger. I actually prefer to use the alpha version of the new FireBug version 1.4:

2. install service pack 4 if it is Windows 200,
3 install service pack 2 if it is Windows xp
4.install the windows updates up to date

definetly will fix the problem
