I have tried upgrading and downloading but this does not work. I have found this answer but don't understand how to do the following. We have found Roboform has trouble when extra items are inserted in the User Agent....

This is what it reads as.....
    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 3P_UAMG/1.0.25.0 Firefox/3.0.1

The stuff I have bolded, us what is causing the trouble. Its caused by a toolbar you installed.
Use LoudNoise's fix to unbaffle Roboform.

Apparently Firefox updated itself to the most recent version available, which is not compatible with RoboForm Adapter.

Try to find more recent version of RoboForm Adapter.

Make sure you have pop ups blocked
Open Firefox
> Open Menu (stack of books icon, top right)

How do i enable pop up windows

Firefox is a free alternative Web browser to Microsoft Internet Explorer.
If you have opted to use Firefox and are having trouble using specific websites that require popup windows, you can alter the popup blocker settings in Firefox.

Click the "Firefox" button and then click "Options."
Click the "Content" tab.

Locate the line that reads "Block pop-up windows" and click the "Exceptions" button next to it.
Enter the full URL of the site for which you want to allow popup windows.
Click the "Allow" button to add that site to your exceptions list.

Continue adding URLs as necessary until all of your exceptions have been added, then close the Allowed Sites window and the Options window.

Remove popups on toolbar

The open source web browser Mozilla Firefox features a number of tools for blocking web annoyances that include pop-up ads. By default, the pop-up blocker in Firefox is enabled but if you are still seeing pop-up ads, the tool might have been turned off at some point. You can quickly re-enable the pop-up blocker from the Firefox settings.

Launch Firefox. Select "Firefox," then "Preferences" and then "Preferences." Select the "Content" tab. Check "Block pop-up windows" and then click "Close."

When I turn firefox on I get xml.freecause.com:443 error

This likely is a problem with an add-on or a tool bar.
Try this: 1.Start Firefox in Safe Mode- Hold shift while starting Firefox. If prompted select Continue in Safe Mode. 2. If Firefox starts in Safe Mode, select Tools>Add Ons 3. Select Extensions on the left side. This will give you a list of your extensions. 4. Pick one extension and click disable. 5. Now close Firefox and open it normally. If you dont get the error, you know which one was giving you trouble. You should remove that extension or check for updates. 6. If you get the error again, start from step 1 and choose a different extension each time.
Notes: A: If somehow you get the errors in Safe Mode you can click cancel on the popups until you are able to continue OR you can set the date back on your computer by a day or two. B: Toolbars that track airline miles and Gamersunite snagbar have been known to cause this error.
I hope this helps.

Cannot open Mozilla Firefox browser.

Have you tried opening "Safe Mode"? Click on Start - All programs - Mozilla Firefox - Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode) and see if you can get it to open, uninstall all the 3rd party software and open it again regular mode and see if it works. I hope this helps. Don't forget to rate and provide positive feedback for our fast-free response today. Thank you :D
