How come my Canon ImageClass MF4122 printer gives fuzzy images?

I have used my printer (Canon ImageClass MF4122 printer) for about 5 years. Recently, the printer gives a fuzzy images whenever I print things. I have cleaned the printer interior, changed the printer ink density settings to dark, and changed my ink cartridge, nothing seems to work, and the printout I get is still fuzzy. What else can I do? Buy another printer? Please help, thanks.

That is best bet since it appears that your print head is fubar and Canon charges a fortune for them. Cheaper to get a new printer with warranty.

hi im jules_09,check the developer,if its past over 60,000 copies if its over 60,000 copies you need to change the developer along with the opc drum and cleaning blade or roller,all copiers need to be replaced with new developer,opc drum and cleanign blade or roller when it reach its copy life,that may be the cause of light copy of print

you have miss regrestion there are several ways to correct this process 1-go into service mode -function-clear-dc con -ok then take machine off unlug from wall outlet replug turn machine on 2-replace your itb assy. 3-there is another way but you have to be next to the machine and fimilar with second level service mode.

Believe it or not this error normally relates to the paper tray. Take all of the paper out of the tray and then reinsert the paper into the tray.

Error e000 - error with fixing unit. Try to disassemble printer, remove fixing unit. Check heater element's and thermal sensor's impedance. Check connectors.

Hi, mayang!

The MF4122 uses the same drivers as the MF4150, they are pretty much the same printer, one is simply for export. That is why the drivers are so hard to find! Here's what you need to do:

  1. Go to the Canon website here
  2. Download the correct driver for your operating system
  3. Run the installation for the driver
  4. Follow all the on-screen directions
That should take care of it.

My printer canon imageclass MF4122 showing LCD "SYSTEM ERROR E225" What must I do?

1- open the glass scaner
2- now clean the steel shift and the in the end shift you can see white plastic roller clean it by oil cleaner then but on it white greze let the greze be between the slote of the white roller tobe move good
3- another side of the shift you have amotor and tow plastice dishly clean it then but a greze on it noite not put mor grezs
4- now clean the glass scaner and teste your printer
if it's still in problem try whith this step
1- open glass of the scaner then you have white cable it's between the scaner lamp and logic change it and teste your brinter
if it's still in problem do it's end step and you will finish the problem
change the scaner lamp and not forget clean the stel shift in the begining when you clean the white roller and put on the steel shift a white greze
