Re: converting plam address book to my Htc pocket pc

Method1: The easiest way to do this is to sync your Palm Desktop data with the PIM on your Yahoo account. It's free so if you don't have a Yahoo account sign up and get one just for the transfer. Once your DateBook data is on Yahoo there is a simple to use option to sync Yahoo to Outlook. once all your stuff is in Outlook it will ActiveSync to the PPC

method 2:  install the Outlook and then the Palm sync conduits and sync their datebook, notes, tasks and contacts to Outlook. install Activesync and sync the pocketpc and they get their data. you can also use pocket mirror software for this.
method3: Install ExtendConnect from Extended Systems. Then sync first with the Palm. Then sync with the Pocket PC.

MacMini 10.5.4. How to copy mail.mac address book to Palm desktop

In order to sync a Palm device with other applications, including Outlook on Windows, or Apple's iCal and Address Book on the Mac, users can install Palm conduits, which divert data headed to Palm Desktop to an alternative selection of apps on the computer instead.

Palm one address database in old mdb extension how to convert to .dat extension

I am assuming you are using windows and not MAC? Since you have stated you are using MS access file format, it should be PD 6.2. There is no way to convert the file format that I am aware of.

You will need to "clean" uninstall PD 6.2 and install PD 4.1.4e.

Here is the link to PD 4.1.4e

After you install 4.1.4e, create the same username you had on the previous install of PD, close PD, navigate to c-program files-palm and find the username folder. Paste the address.dat file you have into the address folder in the username folder. Open PD and see if the data is there.

Create a new folder on your PC somewhere that is convenient. Name it something like Palm Desktop Data. (If you need help on the export the manual details are here)

Make sure you select all for the range in the export window.

With the data saved in the folder you created, make a copy of that folder and save to a flash drive, cd-rw or external hard drive.

Anytime you make a change in Palm Desktop, export the data that was changed to that folder and save again to the external media.

With this process you can always import the data back into Palm Desktop anytime you have a problem with the data in Palm Desktop or if your computer/hard drive/device crashes.

I hope that helps and I have answered everything.

RCA e-book Reader

There's a Russian site that has software called book designer 4. Not the new version, but version 4. You can convert any text, html or word file. (Depending on your version of Word.) You can also use a LIT converter to convert LIT files to html.

Since I'm a huge fan fiction reader, this works for me. Good Luck!
