Question about Technics SL-1210M5G Turntable
I have had my 1210s for about 5 years, and just the other day i was playing a tune when it started playing the record backwards and then forwards and repeated this until i turned it off, it now does the same thing after about 20 mins of playing the deck
You have a fault on the quartz-lock speed control electronics. It may be a simple fix, it may be not.
It will require specialist investigation. A Technics dealer should be able to advise you, and arrange shipping back to Technics for repair if you decide that is the best thing to do.
