C reg, fiat x1/9 know one told me i needed a solution b4 i put in the fuel so it doesnt start now , think it also has a flat battery, how do i fix this i have asked mechanics but they dont want to even look at it so its lay in my garage for over 1yr i took it to a mechanic originally and he charged ne 700 it was supposed to be fixed now it doesnt work where do i start .never even gave me a reciept con!!!

Yes.. it is recommended that you run your classic Fiat engine on leaded fuel, as this give lubrication to the valves and stems on the engine cylinder head.
If you have been running the car for more than a tank or two of unleaded fuel, you will start giving wear to the valves and guides.
I recommend you charge up your battery and see if you can get it running again.
There is an additive you can put in to the fuel tank, to make your fuel compatible with your engine, available a Halfords.
