I was trying to program this reciever and something I did wrong has created this. I can leave my old reciever on the proper satelite and when I hook up to this reciever the dish goes to the west limit. The 922 will not show the clock on startup either. When I plug it in, the display shows 997 and I am not able to do anything with it. Can you help me with this. Thanks, Raymond

does the creen say searching for channel? if so you might have to update the maps...go to G! 3 and leave there for about 15 to 20 minutes...make sure you got a dc light....if no you have a tuning issue...play with the skew...
I had same problem - found clicking stopped when I disconnected the Ku LNB - probably shorted. But, I have other problems in that both receiver and unit i.d. numbers have changed. So far, the only option seems to be to send it back to ATS (828 465 9968) for repair. I also had unit on UPS power.
Go to NPS.com & it will give you Instructions on how to program W5. If that doesn't work for you . I can send you the instrucrtions by fax ..reg mail etc. Let me know at firstname.lastname@example.org. be sure to put program W5 sat in subject as I delete all mail not sure of.
call your provider and ask to talk to an installer. most likely they'll be able to tell you on the phone. if not, get them to send someone out to fix your problem. it should be a free service call since you are paying rent on the unit anyway.
