Convergence Problem

Hi, I have a similar probleem with my Sony KP-41T15. It had a really distorted picture so I replaced the STK chips under the advice of someone. The picture has improved greatly however now I can't get the convergence in on the edges of the screen. I didn't change any resisters (which I read about after) but I don't think the chips blew again. I also read how to get into the service mode and possibly adjust it there but don't know how to navigate through it. I'm not sure where to go from here. Could the resisters be causing this problem even if the chips are ok? If not, what else can the problem be? Any help would be appreciated.
