Question about Kenmore 44042 Front Load Washer

1 Answer

Front loading wash machine

I have a Kenmore front loading wash machine, model 417.44142400. It is making a loud buzzing sound when I pull the start knob to begin the wash cycle. The water fills, but the door can be pulled open easily, rather than being locked as it should. Any suggestions?

Kenmore front loading washer won't drain or aggitate, just buzzes

take the front bottom panel off. inside there is a drain pump. you need to remove filter from drain pump its look like a knob. be careful because their is water inside your drain pump so use some big thing for water. clean your filter. put filter back tight. i hope will solve your problem.
