My daewoo fridge freezer is leaking water from somewhere inside my fridga the model number is FR-4506S How can i fix this

Unless it has a water pipe plumbed into it then the water is melting ice or condensation, it's supposed to do this. You need to put a tray or some paper under it.

No 24 v to contactor

The thermostat is the device that determines when the A/C unit starts up. It will require a 24v source (transformer most likely in the air handler) to provide power for the control. If the 24V is present, and the t-stat is calling for cooling, then there is probably a safety device preventing it from starting.

One such common safety device is a water level or "float" switch that detects water level in the pan under the air handler. These are most often found in homes that have the air handler in the attic space. Normally, these pans a dry or have a a few dropsof watrer in them. Condensate is created when warm, humid air is passed over a cold coil. It is collected and routed outside. If there is a problem getting the condensate down the drain pipe in the air handler, it will drip out of it onto the attic floor. This is why a shallow pan is installed under the air handler. The pan will collect the condensate and is piped outside and down to the ground. If the pipe has become clogged - preventing draining - the water would overflow the pan and ruin the ceiling in the space directly below. The float switch prevents the signal from the thermostat from turning on until the water has drained to a safe level.

Check the pan - if it is empty, the switch may have been distrubed and actuated - even though there is no water in the pan. Operated the switch to make sure it can move freely. There may be other safety devices inline like the float switch. You'll need to follow the circuit and find where it is being interrupted in order to make the repair / correction.

I hope this helps & good luck!

I have condensation in the bottom part of the fridge say the ceiling part

I believe your defrost condensate drain has a blockage of ice and will need to be defrosted and clean the condensate line from the freezer to the condensate collection plate below your refrigerator. Most times the blockage begins slowly until the opening of the drain hole under the evaporator freezes itself shut. Below is a link to some solutions I have collected over a period of time. Also has a short movie that makes the repair look simpler. There are many reasons for this happening for example water leaking from a water supply line for the dispenser or ice maker, a crack in the defrost pan, water leaking inside and draining through the refrigerator cabinet, but most are caused by a defrost drain line blockage. Below is a link that may be helpful so try to take it all in and use the parts that most refer to your specific problem, Thanks Sea Breeze

Collecting water at bottom of frig inside under drawers.

begin by removing the grill on the front at floor level. look under there and you will see the evaporation pan. next pull the fridge out from the wall so you can get behind it. there you will see the tube. to unclog it you will have to disconnect it at the top and force hot water into it using a turkey baster.

Water collects and freezes in bottom of Kenmore freezer of side-by-side freezer/refrigerator

Hello, this sounds like you have a blockage in the drain tube, remove panel back of freezer..you may see ice build up...melt ice with hair dryer/heat gun...you will see a pan below evaporator...melt ice in pan...dry water up in pan with paper towel...now you should see a hole in pan that leads to drain tube...pour some hot water in pan..wait a couple minutes..mop up water and repeat this step 2-3 times....once you have done this find some flexible curatain wire or electrical wire..poke down the hole until you see the water drain..now it is clear..put back panel back and you are good to go. The reason you see water in the fridge is because the water has been leaking down the vent instead of the drain hole...If you need any further assistance please feel free to comment again. good luck! P.s Please don't forget to rate my solution thanks!

With an external pipe or even the bucket attached it seem to leak onto the floor below, what am i doing wrong

You may have a blockage in the metal or plastic collection pan under the coil that sweats to take water out of the air. Possibly some pet hair, lint etc. Have you cleaned it lately? Could the pan be rusted through somewhere? Is it level? Could you the collection bucket be cracked at or near the hose connection?

STANDING WATER ON TOP SHELF

If the freezer is on top then empty out the freezer and remove the bottom and back liner of the freezer compartment usually phillips screws. In the back you will see the freezer coils along with a defrost element. Below these two items u will see a drip tray that collects water from the coils on defrost cycle, in the center of the pan will be a drain hole that connects to a hose that leads to a pan under the refrigerator.Normally the water is collected there and evaporated. The hole in the tray in the freezer is clogged. Thaw it and clean it until you can pour water in it and it goes to the pan down below. please rate me
