Spin cycle is out of control

It's supposed to be super capacity, i put a load of towels in, on the spin cycle it was jumping so hard, it moved over to the dryer and moved it too. I thought it was unbalanced, couldn't get the door to unlock (not in the manual) can't figure out how to reset it. HELP ME

Check the vibration damper rods for breakage - especially the mounting points.

There are also springs at the bottom of the tub that can fail.

Spin cycle is going on balance

Betty, if you suggesting the machine is out of balance/ causing the machine to jump around in spin cycle
1. it may be due to a heavy wet load ,like towels unbalancing the machine, try less load or slower spin ,then fast spin
2. could be concrete balancing block inside machine has come loose, both problems causing a unbalancing affect on the spin cycle.

Washer moves during spin cycle

If this is a newly installed washing machine have you taken out the four big bolts on the back of the machine? It holds the drum to prevent it from moving during transportation when it was delivered. if machine runs during fast spin it will make the machine vibrate heavily causing it to move

I have a GE, 4 to 5 years old, Super Capacity WJRR4170G1WW. When it agitates, the drum goes back and forth with the agitator. I though it should stay still. Please advise.

sorry to say you have a very expensive to repair problem ):
the transmission has a brake built into which is suppose to hold the tub in place during the agitation cycle and then release on the spin cycle to spin. the brake isnt engaging and the only fix is to replace the transmisson which is very expensive.
it may work for awhile then as it gets worse and the tub moves more during the wash cycle water will slosch out of it all over the floor, sorry to break the bad new

Admiral Designer Series Super Capacity Washing Machine

This machine will rotate the motor to agitate in one direction and then reverse to activate the pump and the clutch for spin. I would remove the inspection plate and watch the motor and pump in action in both wash and spin, go to www.apdepot.com and dig around you will find parts and a wire schematic on this machine.
