Dumb of me enough I had received and email from a friend and downloaded something called incredimail and after that my computer starting giving me the breaking point message and I have not been able to get online with it so far. When viruses come in, ALWAYS have a antivirus ready and up -dated. you might not even know where its gonna land in the computer. Computers that slow down are related to viruses that come from unprotected computers. there is two ways to get rid of virus if you think that it is still in the computer. 1-- backup files to another harddrive. 2--- Restore Computer. restoring the computer will remove all data from computer and it will remove certain viruses. Back up to different harddrive and then restore is another option. when you do get a virus shut down computer and then remove ethernet cable from computer. data is lost from virus if you do that.

Good Luck

Download http://www.malwarebytes.org/ install it and reboot into safemode. Run the scan in safemode and allow it to delete everything. Reboot and then run a scan in normal mode. After that you should be good to go. Its one of the best applications out and its free. Also try superantispyware you can google it and find the download. Do the same for that application also.

My computer has a virus I can't remove

Try and boot into windows safe mode by pressing the F8 key before windows loads and then try running the browser and check if it crashes. Perform the same process by scanning with an anti virus and see what happens. You might have two problems, either the RAM the actual memory is bust or something in the OS has gone really wrong and got the OS unstable. Try the safe mode test to confirm.

You can use any disk as long as you own the license code. Do you know the type of virus and it's name. I could possibly help with a removal tool or advice if I know more.

Hi masters: My computer go realy slow, when you stop using it for 10 min.I have installed a CA security anti virus, etc ,but still reporting one virus that the CA anti, hasent been able to clean so...

You need to find the path to where the virus file is located & delete it you're self. You're antivirus software should show you where it is located. Once you delete the virus file, shut down the PC. Unplug the power cord from the PC. Open you're case & remove you're memory. Wait about 15 seconds & reseat you're memory. (make sure you're memory is seated correctly).
Removing the memory clears the memory from memory virus).
Close you're case & reconnect the power cord. Boot the PC. Once windows has finished loading run windows diskClean, than run windows defrag. (may take some time). After defrag has finished restart you're PC. Run another virus scan. If you're virus software still finds a virus or you're system & its still running slow the virus may have damaged windows files or windows registry. A reinstall of windows may be needed. If you have system restore turned on than the virus is most likely being stored in one or more restore points.
Remove infected files that you cannot clean in the System Restore data archive. To completely and immediately remove any infected file or files in the data store, turn off and then turn on System Restore. To do so, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2. Click Performance and Maintenance, and then double-click System.
3. Click the System Restore tab, and then click to select the Turn off System Restore for all drives check box.
4. Click OK, and then click Yes to initiate the restore point deletion.
To turn on System Restore again after the restore point deletion has completed, repeat these steps, but click to clear the Turn off System Restore for all drives check box.

Good Luck!

Mike
