Question about HP LaserJet P2015 Printer
We have a HP P2015 printer that no longer prints. On the self test, it makes all the proper sounds and the paper even comes out--however, it is totally blank.
I tried a new cartridge and no change in operations.
I am assuming it is dead but thought I would check.
Check inside the toner door on the right side. there should be a plastic tab which opens the laser shutter when the door is closed. if this is broken then the lase shutter will not open and will produce blank pages.

Blank pages are caused by either a bad formatter board, a bad print cartridge or something blocking the laser beam from getting to the drum.
formatter for the network version is: http://h20141.www2.hp.com/hpparts/Cart.asp?mscssid=E15FAFF97280470F9918CBF5100185BB&NotBulk=&NotFound=&NotOrderable=
