Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T700 system error message error C 32:01 what is this and how is it fixed?

C:32:01 is a "disk format error". It means that your memory card is most likely corrupted.

First, remove the memory card and visually check that the electrical contacts are bright, clean and not greasy. Do not touch the contacts with your bare skin, use a cotton bud moistened with alcohol or methylated spirits if they need cleaning. At the same time, check that the lock switch on the MemoryStick is fully unlocked. Slide it fully to locked and then fully back to unlocked.

If the contacts and lock switch are fine then you can try reformatting the MemoryStick using the "Format" command in the camera menu, do NOT do this on a pc/Mac or in an external card reader. If there is an option to "Full Format" or "Quick Format" choose the full option. Note that any stored images will be deleted, but if you have suitable data recovery software they can still be recovered afterwards as long as no new pictures are taken which overwrite the data.

If that fails then try another MemoryStick in your camera. If the fault remains then the camera is faulty and must either be sent to a Sony Service Centre or replaced. Your camera may still be under the manufacturer's warranty, if so repairs will be free.

I hope that I have been of some assistance; please take a moment to rate my answer.

How do i put my pictures into the computer?

The easiest way to get your pictures into the computer is to use a memory card reader (many computers have them built in). If you do not have a memory card reader built in, an inexpensive reader that reads MemoryStick (the type of memory card used by Sony) is available for around $20.

Once you have attached the reader and placed the MemoryStick in the reader, it will appear as another disc drive on your computer and you can copy the pictures by dragging the files to your current disc drive.

Hope that helps,

Black screen with information, takes black pictures and displays nice pictures on memorystick

This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Sony should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following link for more info:

DSC F-505 doesn't support Mac OS?

SInce the only storage option on the F505 is Memorystick, you would need a memorystick reader. Sony has a MemoryStick/PCMCIA adapter card that would fit in standard PCCard slots. Once the images are in your computer they are standard JPEGs. Go to the Cybershot forum on http://www.mavican.com and ask what the F55 Mac users do. It also uses only memorysticks.
