Question about Computers & Internet
I downloaded Messenger 9 a couple of weeks ago, and ever since then my webcam has refused to operate It is a Logitech Orbit. It worked fine without error on all prior messengers, and so i am thinking of reverting back to an older version, even though i prefere the new one.
Whenever i try to activate my webcam a message appears saying 'We couldn't start your camera device. Please check that your camera is not currently in use by another program, and then try again.'
I know for a fact that my webcam is not in use by another program, and i can still use it to record footage and take pictures while using other software.
I really do not want to revert to an older version of messenger, so any other answer would be highly appreciated.
The instructions made my web cam work again!

Do you use McAfee as your anti virus software?
