Question about Canon PC-1060 Black and White Copier
Some one was trying to copy two sided and then the paper jamed as it came out of the body of the machine onto the tray. I can't get all the paper out to get it going again.
Sounds like your jammed paper is in the fixing assembly. (the one on the right side, where the paper comes out printed very hot)
you are gonna have to remove it from the copier to easily remove the paper.
here's some instrutions.
remove the cartridge. then remove the platten glass. you will need to remove a small plastic cover on the left side of the glass. then just remove the glass. then remove a black piece of plastic that covers a cable. now remove the control panel. like if you were to remove the cartridge open the uper cover and there you should see a screw. unscrew it, then the panel must slide a little to your left and then just carefully unplug the flat cable. now you need to remove all the covers on the left side of the copier. (...ok they dont sell this particular model around here but if you do not happen to see screws on the left side then you may have to remove even the front cover). once done, unplug the fixing assembly, there must be at least two connectors that go directly to the power supply, then unscrew it, from two holes located at the top (where you previously remove the platten glass), on one side there should be only one screw and on the other two. once is unplugged and unscrew it should come out 'easily' Caution: It could be hot! now you gotta remove the top cover of the assembly just unscrewing the two screws one per side. it still it doesnt pop up it has some kind of metal locks you just need to push or pull depending on how they're located. once you get to this point (or even before) you should be really able to remove all the paper jammed in there. Good luck!
