I switched gabinets and the new one has a audio and mic imput on the front and i need to connect them the the MB corectly and idk where to plug them

The PCChips support page for your board is here, where you can download the full manual as well as drivers or other information you may need. This picture shows the front panel audio header location (AUDIO1):

And here is the pin information:

I believe the header complies with standard layout, so the plug on the cable to the front panel audio connectors on your new case may fit as-is. Or on many cases the wires have individual connectors on the ends to push over the pins. If yours is like this, you can put them on the correct pins by following the table. The wires are marked with their functions.

Good luck and thanks for using Fixya!

Old case new motherboard

You could get it to work by hooking the wiring as you say, But you will be better off with a new case set up for the newer M-board.

No monitor, black with "video cable connected?"

if you have swapped all other devices then yes it is probably MB, and yes there are ways to test it but i would just swap out the MB and see if it works.

WIRING DIAGRAM

The connections of a MB are very critical and if the necessary care is not applied you could have a fried MB. We could supply you with all you need to make the connectionbut we will need from you more information. The MB is very rarely damaged unless something or someone tinkers with it. Please tell us why you needed to change the MB and how did it happen that the MB got unwired. As I said, one needs to exercise a greatdeal of caution and one false move can cause the whole thing to burn out. Even if are placing a new MB, you still need to follow the same precautions. We will be happy to help you! <arzobconst@yahoo.com> My name is Constantin

Connector pulled off power buton wires

Hi ford, the most common case colored wires used for negative - is white. The colors blue, red, green are usually positive +. The internal speaker though it uses a 4 pin connector only plugs onto the 2 end pins. Black is connected to negative - pin & red is connected to + positive pin. (Depending on the MB model).
All these case LED's use 5volts DC. If you make a boo-boo, don't freak out. You can usually shut down the system & turn the connector 180 & re-connect it with out hurting the board. Suggest you connect 1 at a time & check in-between each.

Still having trouble, include the name & model number of the MB.
Good luck!

Hp m7580n mobo asus a8m2n-la was hit by lighting at ethernet input

Depends on what CPU you have stuck in it. Any micro atx AM2 mb will work as long as you know what power rating the cpu is 65w,85w95w. With HP and the rest of the crappy inti-graded mb using companies they like to use there own board connector which will not work with an after market. All you need is an old chasis tower pull the single pins off the wires and place them on the HP chasis wires getting rid of the 6 in 1 connector pin they use. After that you can use any after market like mother board in that tower.
