Re: sears kemore elite top load washer won't drain, loud...
You motor coupling is broken. It's a cheap part though and an easy repair. The motor coupling sits between the motor and the transmission and is what spins the transmission when the motor spins. It breaks from age or from over loading the machine too many times. If you want to replace it on your own it is simple, unplug the washer and tip it back. The motor sits right in the front. You will see the pump on the front which you will want to take off. Just pop off the clamps holding it on with a flat head screw driver. Don't take the pump off the hoses just push it aside. Next unplug the wires from the motor. There are two clamps holding the motor up. Remove the screws in the clamps and then pop the clamps off with your flat head. When you do this hold onto the motor, when you get the first clamp off the motor will drop and you don't want to smash your fingers. The motor coupling will come off with it. Put your new one on, (it only goes on one way) and put everything back together. You will back to as good as new again. You can get a motor coupling for around 10 dollars from your local appliance repair shop, they are very common and are always on hand. Let me know if you have any other questions and if this was helpful to you. Good luck and I am glad that I could help you.

F2 mean that you have a drainage problem and could be that the pump is clogged. I believe the pump can be accessed from the front of the washer. Also make sure electrical connections are secure. Make sure no hoses are clogged or kinked anywhere.
Based on your post I understand you have a F21 problem with a Kenmore washer, the F21 error means an excessive drain time was detected as you may or may not already know...also the reason the door won't unlock.
If you follow the link to my solution to this error designed specifically for "do-it-yourselfers" you should be fixed up in no time...including unlocking the door. (It's much quicker for me than pasting or retyping the complete solution several hundred times, that's how common this is)
