Remote not turning on system

Are you saying ONLY the remote doesn't turn it on? In other words - does the unit seem fine when operated manually?

Try this advice:

"Dead" Remotes Can Be Saved

How to Re-Start Your "Dead" Remote Control

This only takes about a minute and will restart 1 in 3 "Dead" Original Remote Controls. Good Luck!

Step 1- Pull the batteries out of the remote and leave them out until Step 4.

Step 2- Press and release each and every button one at a time on the remote control until every button has been pressed and released at least once!

Step 3- If your remote has slide switches, you must move the switch to each position then repeat the button pushing in Step 2.

(When you're done, be sure to put the slide switch in the correct position to operate the unit the remote came with!)

Step 4- Put the batteries back into the remote, being very careful to install them correctly.

New batteries should be used if you're not sure about the old ones.

Step 5- Try the remote.

Special Note:

If you have a digital camera, camcorder or camera phone you can test the remote to see if it is emitting a signal. Face the remote towards the lens of the digital unit until you can see the front of the remote. Depress any button on the remote. You should see a light (steady, blink or flashing) being emitted from the remote. If you do then the problem might not be the remote but the sensor on the unit.

If it works, Great!

If not, it's time to call 1-800-Remotes or use this website to order a new remote.

Need a remote were can i get one

either go google with the exact name of manufacturer and model in hand or find an audio remote ($£5-10) from a retailer or goto a howto site such as instructables and learn how to make one, all solutions are based on how much time you have and what your willing to pay, my advice, build your own lcd universal remote control and install the windows xp prtable version on it so that you only ever have to use one remote!!!!

Sub remote works with two passive satallite monitors but sub has no sound

If sub has two signal outputs and if the monitors are full range (passive crosover built in), put mixer outputs to the sub and signal outputs of the sub to amps in.If not mixer outputs to th amp and its signal outputs to the sub in.Or you can use main out of the mixer for the monitors and rec out for the sub.Its just few XLR or jack cables extra.Just make sure that the mixer, sub and the amp are on the same power phase otherwise you'll have brrrrrrrrrrr on the speakers
