Question about Stoves Monessen Variable Thermostat Controlled Forced Air Blower Heater
When I run the heater on the fireplace there is no problem. Once I turn on the flames the heater will shut off after 2 cycles. I am running the fireplace on it own outlet. How can I solve this problem

We have had this same problem with our heater. But I went online to find out where I could purchase replacement parts. The company that sold the fireplace went out of business. I also went on-line to try and fine a universal replacement part. So far no help to be found.

Sound like it could be flame sensor. This sensor is a rod hooked to a wire where the flame would hit it. Sometimes the sensor gets a coat of film on it. If it is this can clean with dollar bill. Other possibilities is if this is direct vent fireplace (sealed door) could be not getting enough combustion air, but if this just started doing this I wouldn't think it would be lack of combustion enless pipe got plugged somehow.
