Canon ipf750/upgrade firmware

I would first check the linear scale. That`s a small plastic strip ,positioned along the total lenght of the rail.Mind you ,I don`t have a ipf8000.But maybe the systems are the same. The linear scale is under tension ,by a metal spring.Check if the strip is not hanging loose. Also check the strip (linear scale) on dirt or ink splashes. If so clean it with alcohol (that`s what I did on a ipf5000).The scale runs through a slit ,at the back of the carriage. There are light grey patterns on the scale. The sensor on the carriage reads them ,and thus knows the position of the printheads ,with respect to the rest position.Check if the scale runs smoothly through the slit.

I need the cord that goes to the copier to the outlet

You did not tell us brand and model name of your device. However, most machines in this category come with standard cables - any electric supply shop in your area should be able to help you out. Make a photo or draw a 1:1 scale sketch of the power connector in your device and show it to the shopkeeper.

Dymo stamps doesn't see USB Dymo scale

You might try connecting the USB cable directly to one of the computer's USB ports.  My scale (DigiWeigh) showed as not connected when it was connected to a USB hub.  When it is connected directly to the computer, it shows the scale as connected.  Unfortunately, it still won't transfer weights to the Dymo Stamps software.

  1. Open the Page Setup dialog box.

Incomplete plot from .pdf file - Hp DesignJet 1050C Plus

Was the plot originally done on a size D or E plotter.. A .pdf is generally not a good way to send a plot that has to be done to scale.. Can they re-send the plot in a hpgl format, or a format that you can use in another program, liks ACAD, and then print it through that program? This would provide you with some control, that a pdf document will not allow.

This is just a stab in the dark for me, but I am familiar with plotters in general, just not the many formats to print from..
