check your bobbin and is the needle good and sharp and the proper length.make sure its not bentthe tiniest defectt n a needle can mess up any stitch.
how does it work on regular stitching.
most problems with machines involve.bad needles incorrect threading of bobbin or spool, dirty bobbin, incorrect needle.
it sounds like the needle isnt catching the bobbin thread.

My cxl will not stay theaded way the thead does not brake it comes untheaded.

When threading the machine, pull at least six inches of thread through the needle's eye. Pull up the bobbin thread (see video) and then gently hold both threads gently with your left fingers when taking the first couple of stitches in your fabric.

Upper thead will not catch bobbin thead

try a new needle--make sure the needle is the correct one for the fabric
being sewed
try rethreading the machine top and bobbin
make sure to use every thread guide
try a different bobbin--make sure the bobbin is turned the correct way
in the bobbin case
if the suggestion don't help then the machine may need to be checked for a timing problem

Why want my singer 621B catch my bobbin thread?

Firstly have you got a manual? If not, visit this page to search for and download one.
http://www.singerco.com/accessories/instruction-manuals

The manual may have troubleshooting help. However, it could be several things so check them all to trouble shoot:

needle in backwards - should be flat shank to the back. Needles have a scooped out area (scarf) at the rear where the hook rotates through to catch the thread and form the stitch. critical to stitching formation.

Blunt, bent or burred needle - you need to put in a new one for every project, ie about 6 sewing hours. So good practice to change it regularly.

Take up lever not threaded - check threading path from spool to needle.

Needle not theaded - just check it is threaded correctly, front to back.

Timing out - this can happen, the timing between the hook swinging behind the needle when it is at its lowest point under the needle plate is critical to stitch formation. If you have tried the other things then take off the needle plate and manually turn the machine through a stitch and see if you can see just how close the hook is getting to the needle tip. Timing is something best tackled by a service technician so you may need to take the machine to the shop.

Thread jams in bobbin case

Open the bobbin area and make sure it is clean.

Change to a new needle.

Thread the machine with the presser foot up.

Make sure the bobbin thread is feeding in the correct direction from the bobbin spool and through the guide on the bobbin case.

Take hold of the end of the top thread and lower, then raise the needle to pull the bobbin thread up.

Take hold of both thead ends and pull them under the presser foot and to the back of the machine.

Place fabric under the presser foot. Lower and hand walk the first couple of stitches.

When sewing, and you need to stop to adjust the fabric, make sure the needle is down into the fabric. This will keep the stitch from malformation and causing a possible tangle.

If you need a manual, you can download one free at the Brother website.

Bernina Bernette 600 Deco embroidery machine

It could be that there is a loose piece of thread, or some fluff which is obstructing the tension gauge. Try blowing around the theading area (or even run the hoover pipe near it to see if you can **** it out). I cleared mine by folding a piece of non fluffy material and rubbing gently between the tension dial and machine.

Good luck
