Today I installed my new printer Dell Color Laser Printer 1320c. I cannot print as documents sent to spooler. I tried reinstalling. o good. I disabled spooler...no good. I'm a technophobic with little spare time, running own business and cannot print the documentation I need. Any help out there?
You might try restoring the defaults on the printer.
Double-click the Status Monitor Console icon on the Windows task bar. The Printer Selection window opens. In the Printer Selection window, click Dell Color Laser 1320c. The Dell Color Laser 1320c Launcher opens.Click the Tool Box icon. The Tool Box opens. Click the Printer Maintenance tab. In the upper left window, select Reset Defaults. Click Start. The Password window appears. If you have not set a password for the printer, click OK. Otherwise, enter your password and click OK.
Howdy there! it is possible that the ink is clogged. take a cottonball and dab it is alcohol and then apply it to the black ink cartridge. If this is not working, also clean the printer well where the ink goes into the printer. if still a challenge, you can check to make sure the black is turned onto full color black. From file menu, click print, then advanced, make sure that everyday printing is welected, then choose the color tab and make sure that grayscale is not selected, if so, click on color and black. please let me know if this does not work, pleasure to assist tonight..... page 30 of the 1320c manual it says this signifies the coming end of the
PHD (print head device). I cannot find a part number or reference to
the PHD on the Dell web site pages connected with this printer
Yes. Any printer's default options can be set as desired. Open the printer's properties (Start/Control Panel/Printers/right click the printer and left click Properties), and change the setting as you wish, then click OK. Those settings should be used each time you use the print command, unless you change the settings for that particular print job.
Hope this helps, and please rate my advice, good OR bad.
