I have the same problem with mine, I have replaced the phot eye, and put new fuel into the heater. My heater has also only been used one time, for about 3 hours.

Check your fuel and air lines for leaks, typically it's the CAD flame sensor but if you have already replaced it try checking the high heat limit switch. It looks like a thick watch battery just behind the combustion chamber, take it off and hold a lighter under it. If it's working properly you should hear a faint click when it shuts off, no click then it's bad.

I have a All Pro 150,000 Torpedo heater, it will turn on and then after a few min. the unit will turn off, a poff of white smoke will come out and then turn off

Take the cover off and see if the heater runs ok, if it does then you have an air problem. Check the air pressure. Check for any cracked air lines, or any other plastic parts associated with air, don't forget to check the plastic piece that the nozzle screws in to.

Kerosene garage heater (Desco) fan starts, burst of kerosene, and the heating element is red. Within a few seconds, heater stops abruptly. Email address: p.s.stohr@sbcglobal.net Thanks for your help.

Remove the top from the heater and clean the flame sensor. It should be the photo eye type. Remove it from it hold and clean inside with soft cloth or cotton swab with alcohol. If this doesn't help, let me know what you find. nitensheaterservice@earthlink.net

Motor tries to start but sounds like it is freezing up.

It sounds like the motor may be going out. I suggest you contact Master Parts at 800-446-1446 or you can find them online at www.masterparts.net they should be able to help you find the part you need. I hope this helps!
